Jason Tam

Jason is currently pursuing his Ph.D. degree in Materials Science and Engineering at University of Toronto. His research interest is in bio-mimicry, specifically reproducing the water repelling properties observed in natural superhydrophobic leaves such as the lotus leaf on engineered materials. He is also highly experienced in electron microscopy; from observing the surface structure of moth eyes and butterfly wings to the atomic structure of high strength metals.
