Larry Kei is a Civil Engineering student at the University of Toronto, with passion in Transportation Planning and Construction Management. During his studies, he had worked with the largest contractors in Canada, PCL Constructors Inc., to build the 12 storey Mackenzie Vaughan Hospital beside Canada Wonderland. As an engineering student, he displayed effective communication with trades and lead improvement in LEED Construction initiatives. The working experience broadened his view, connecting theories to industry practices. In his spare time, he created and instructed Civil Engineering related courses at Engineering Outreach. With his experience, Larry wants to share his passion to students through class activities that demonstrates the life cycle of a heavy civil construction project. Hard worker by day, magician by night. Larry may not be the best to watch a hockey game with, but he certainly has a couple tricks up his sleeves.
