Ali Nasseri

Ali Nasseri is an aerospace engineer turned physicist. This will be his 8th time teaching DEEP. Ali’s most recent research focused on magnetic phenomena in nanostructures, and its applications in potential sensing and memory devices. Prior to that, he developed mathematical models of combustion properties of Jet fuel using AI; these models were then used to develop stand-in models of Jet fuel for use in laboratory experiments. Ali has also contributed to system level analysis of space launch systems, and analyzed space concepts in support of future human space flight and disaster management. Outside of research and development, Ali has worked with incubators such as TandemLaunch and Skolkovo Foundation to identify promising technologies for commercialization. He also Chaired the Space Generation Advisory Council in Support of the United Nations Program on Space Applications.
