Girls' Jr. DEEP Coding
**Returning In-Person for Summer 2022!**
On your mark. Get set. CODE!
Girls' Jr. DEEP Coding is a crash course that will provide students with the opportunity to master the basics of coding. They will be introduced to various coding languages and explore how to create their own programs, with an emphasis on coding logic, programming functionality, and theory.
This program is offered to students in Grades 7/8 (2021/2022 academic year.)
July 4 – July 8, 2022
Are you using a digital device to read this message? For it perform a specific function, we must first code them! In Coding 7/8, you will become familiar with coding and understand aspects of computer engineering: software and hardware. During the program, students will create their own algorithm, have hands-on experience using Arduino, and even decode a video game design! By the end of this program, you will be able to add programming languages such as Python & HTML to your arsenal.
Are you ready? Because we are!
Please note that curriculum covered in our Girls Jr. DEEP Coding program is very similar to that covered in Jr. DEEP Coding. We would encourage you to consider one of our other Jr. DEEP courses this summer.
