Social Change and Youth Leadership Conference (SCYLC) 2025
Saturday, May 24-Sunday, May 25, 2025
Target Audience: High school students in Grades 9-12
Cost: $100 for overnight participants; $75 for day participants. Bursaries available upon request.
The Social Change and Youth Leadership Conference (SCYLC) is a two-day conference for high school students in the GTA, focusing on awareness of global development and critical engineering thinking skills. Students will participate in expert lectures, workshops, and interactive activities. Their skills will be put to the test in a final case competition where they will work in teams to develop and present an innovative solution to a panel of judges. Students have the option to stay overnight at a university residence.
