Dates: July 8–August 2, 2024
Blueprint is a four-week academic enrichment experience for motivated Black students passionate about science and engineering. Guided by master's and doctoral students, participants grasp fundamental engineering principles, crafting innovative solutions for real-world challenges while nurturing community and leadership skills.

BASE empowers Black Grade 12 students on their journey to U of T Engineering, offering tailored guidance on applications, U of T specifics, financial aid, and continuous staff support.

Community Programming
Our Community Programming brings the wonders of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics directly to priority neighborhoods. These engaging, free programs aim to foster a love for learning and discovery in all members of our community, regardless of their background or resources.

Learn about STEM through discovery-based activities and challenges geared towards preparing students to become active leaders in their school, community and extracurricular activities.

Programs for Girls
Discover the power of an all-girls environment in STEM education. Our Girls' Programming is designed to empower young women, providing a supportive space where they can explore, innovate, and thrive.

In Girls' Jr. DEEP, participants will conduct experiments, work on engineering design projects and collaborate in an all-girls environment, taught by some of the most amazing female engineering students at U of T!

Girls In! is an interactive virtual workshop series designed for girls in Grades 3–6. This year's theme, Girls in Medicine, delves into the engineering and science behind modern medicine through inspiring stories of pioneering women in STEM, while offering engaging hands-on activities aligned with each weekly topic.

Girls in Engineering Day is an interactive hackathon-style experience where the students will work in teams to complete an engineering themed design project. This year, our program will focus on robotics and space exploration, where students must use mechanical, electrical and software engineering principles to build their very own mars rover.

Girls' Jr. DEEP Saturdays offers young science and engineering enthusiasts an immersive, hands-on crash course exploring cutting-edge subjects in science, technology, and engineering, fostering learning within an all-girls, female-led classroom setting.

IDEA: Leaders In Training is an empowering 2-week program, fostering Indigenous leaders through immersive Land-Based STEM education, while providing the chance to earn a high school credit and access teaching opportunities.

This is an Indigenous-led program for Indigenous students in Grades 3-6 grounded in Land-based learning. This fun, unique, free program explores STEM concepts while making connections to the Land. Through a wide-range of engaging hands-on activities, participants will engage with traditional and cultural knowledge to explore cutting-edge topics in STEM
